I'm kind of at a block here of what to write for my first post.  I don't want to start it out as a "Hi! Welcome to my blog" type of post because that would be too cliche.  Most of you that know me will understand me where those who don't know me will either eventually come to know me or just ignore the blog outright.

There have been some things I have been thinking about lately.  First of all, why the hell can't I have more balls?  I mean this in a metaphorical sense as in I'm too scared to do some things because I'm afraid of the consequences.  That is always a pain in the ass.  For example, lets say a guy has a friend that is female and he happens to like them a lot and want to date them.  In this day and age, people equal dating with relationships.  Why?  Well, if something goes wrong, that "relationship" is effectively over and the two split.  The fear of that situation is far more prominent on the guy's mind than being shy (of course, if he's shy that wouldn't help the situation at all).  And then you have that other situation where let's say someone has ulcers and they really love spicy food but can't eat it.  Do they eat that spicy food and risk being sentenced to life on the toilet after or do they play it safe and get a plain-Jane meal?  Things like this go through my head frequently (both things).

Something else that has been on my mind lately is people and their damn capitalization.  Did people not get the memo in Elementary School that they should have been paying attention to how sentences are structured?  No?  Well fuck, our planet is in for a major crisis when people can't even write books properly anymore.  For example, just go look at any Facebook profile and scroll through it.  You will find that one asshole that Capitalizes Everything They Fucking Say (just like I did there).  Where the hell is my red colored pencil?  I'll go back and cross it all out and make corrections for him, the asshole!  You realize that your schooling was funded by the tax payers and you didn't even try to pay attention?  Let me get off my soapbox for being a hypocrite, alright?  I didn't pay attention in my last few years of school and was too worried about chasing the girls.  What can I say, I like cuddling.  Fuck you if you don't like it.  I'm kidding.

Seriously though, look around on the internet.  It's not just a matter of capitalization that is severely lacking.  News publications all around the globe are suffering a severe lack of EDITORS!!!  I cannot mention how many times I have seen an article posted on the internet that has not been proof-read and contains no less than one error that should have been easily spotted (such as the infamous "to" vs "too" mistake).  Now, I don't tend to be too much of a "Grammar Nazi" and I do tend to let a lot of mistakes slide, especially from someone in no way affiliated with the media (unless they are trying to debate.  I mean, seriously, who can take you seriously if you never took your education serious enough to learn the basics?) but the news media needs to seriously filter the trash that gets published and make corrections.  It makes your publication look like you just don't give a damn and it insults my intelligence.

Anyway, I guess I'm just rambling.  Welcome to the blog (I said I wasn't going to say this, but fuck it) and feel free to leave comments.  I have another blog that I post gaming news and art on and I left a link on the side column for you if you want to read it.  I'll write some more sometime soon.  I'm always thinking about something at any rate.
